Objective/Goals

I want to reach out to peers as well as possible employment offerers.
I want to express that I am diligent and hardworking and not afraid of chalenge.
The content of my work will be divided into animation-finished, animation-in progress, and concept art for my work. Arranging each category by date.

In the beginning...

BIO:
MALE 20 and living!
I grew up in a small town south of Saint Louis. I did the whole highschool thing, voted "most likely to do something with art" and then got accepted to the Kansas City Arti Institute (not affiliated with the Arti Intitutes of America). I enjoy books(all), video games (Skyrim), comedians (Gabriel Iglesias, Eddie Izzard), and pizza (no veggie please). Of course I also love to animate, but I don't have as much time as I'd like due to my school schedule. Animation is HARD WORK.  I currently share a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment with a senior animator and her dog. (Need roomate for next year!) I am currently very dissappointed with Missouri weather due to lack of snow, I prefer winter to summer. Currently I am a Junior in the Animation Department here at KCAI.

MY WORK:
I am an animator by trade. My work is predominately hand drawn digital pieces though I'm branching off into 3D with the program MAYA. I am experienced with Adobe photoshop, Adobe Flash, Adobe After Effects, and pencil based tools. My inspiration comes from many different sources. Everything from comic book artists like Ben Dunn and Fred Perry to animators like Chuck Jones and Yves Biegel. I tend to gear my work towards comedic content due to my personal feeling wish to entertain rather than make my viewers angry or depressed, we have the News for such things.

Artist Statement: I animate, there fore I am. My work is my life and my future.

ProSite.com Versus Wordpress.org

In my opinion, I would go with Wordpress because you can run it for free. I don't really want to pay anything if I can help it. As far as customization goes, learning how to do it my self is much more interesting. Though ProSite.com looked slick and probably made it easy to edit your blog, paying someone to do something that I could do myself seems silly. After all a blog can be made to look really impresive if you just put some time into it.

Let there be goals!

The point of this blog is to create a professional looking blog where I can direct people to who want to view my work.

Anyone and everyone is welcome to see my work.
